Ecole Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie d'Arles

n + n Corsino are invited choreographers to lead a Toplogies de Soi workshop with the students of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie d'Arles.

Topologies of oneself.

A smartphone in the hand, an accelerometer sensor on one finger of the other hand. Each creates a short choreographic phrase based on selected gestural signs. Each one improvises his impulses in silence, stages himself in different places in Arles, from the quays of the Rhône to the Van Gogh museum, and captures the movement of oneself by photographic suites, traces of time of the body and places. The other hand records the momentum given by the x, y and z motion curves as a spatial signature. It was exhibited in November 2015 in the chapel of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie.
Thanks to Christian Gattinoni and Rémy Fenzy for inviting us to meet these fifteen young artists.
