Residency Co Dodescaden - Les maîtres fous [The Mad Masters]

13th > 23rd February 2017

Presentation:
With this new creation, Dodescaden stages the states of the contemporary social body and, in so doing, continues its research, in reference to and in the light of Jean Rouch’s emblematic film, Les Maîtres Fous (1954).
So what would be our ceremony of contemporary possessions?
Driven by an intimate and collective necessity, the ritualisation of bodies in this choreographic process is a hybrid of stage performance, museum installation and documentary corpus.
